COVID-19 or Coronavirus Procedures

We have made some procedural changes within the office in order for us

to be certain that we have properly sanitized and are able to maintain social distancing for all of our clients.

Masks are No Longer Required at Suriel Touch

We no longer require our clients or staff to wear a mask at our facility.

If you prefer that we all wear a mask during your visit, we will be happy to accommodate your request.  Please inform us of your request while scheduling your appointment and we will notify the entire staff before you arrive.

Definition of Immunity [ĭ-mu´nĭ-te]

The condition of being immune; the protection against infectious disease conferred either by the immune response generated by immunization or previous infection or by other nonimmunologic factors.

In 2020, each of the members of our staff has had and recovered from

Covid-19.  Since immunity can be created in the body through a previous infection, our staff is not required to be vaccinated.

Questions and Answers

Q:  Doesn't the CDC recommend vaccine to all who have had the Covid-19 virus? Since it is not know how much immunity you have or how long it lasts after actually having the virus.

A:  You are correct, the CDC recommends the vaccine for everyone, but it is not a requirement. Virus' mutate, it's their nature, this is why you can get a flu shot every year but can still get the flu. Covid-19 (Coronavirus) is a flu virus, so whether you have had it and recovered or have been vaccinated there is still a possibility that you could be infected again in the future. The mutations that currently exist are why the labs are now working on booster shots for the vaccine, just like they do every year for the flu. Nothing is certain when it comes to battling a flu virus', all you can do is take the appropriate precautions. Wash your hands frequently, hydrate, sanitize your environment regularly, cover your mouth when you cough or sneeze and stay home when you don't feel well and healthy. All practices that we follow here at Suriel Touch.
